About me =)

To Those
To those who, someday, find a need,
To get to know me better:
I have no pride in insolence,
So I’ll just write a letter.

To those who want to know me now,
(Other than soul-mate or confidant)
I quote the words of pirate great,
“Get used to disappointment.”

My Promised Letter
Dear Sir, or Ma’am, as case may be, I have a fairy tale to tell.
But first you must, understand them, to understand the land I dwell.
In recent years I’ve come to know, several truths about my life,
One, that it is a tale untold, until I tell it- joy and strife.

And this may seem mere foolishness, or obviously plain to some,
Secondly, that what you do now, affects who you will become
I have no time to say much more, there’s more but life is wasting away,
(Third, you’re stupid, so admit it.) And I have to write this letter today

I am a child from a fairy tale. My life is open to darkened spells.
Fourth, I’ve learned that no curse or spell is worse than one we give ourselves.
A truth my sister once told me, and I will try to tell you now,
Though you may not listen, lastly: it’s always your fault, no matter how.

A fairy world is not so grand, I know, for I’ve seen many faults,
That most humans cannot discern, there are dangers, crime, assaults.
My tale now, long departed: I was born a glory-princess,
A little water nymph I’m told. I was born in a stained old dress.

Picture of loveliness, allure, though of spitefulness and sin,
An outcast of fairy tale world, only Father wants to let me in.
Though Father-King wants me to be, bright and pure as shining sunrise
A perfect princess once again, devoid of failing compromise,

My soiled dress still clings to me, but sometime soon, He’ll take it
When my Father is calling me, I’ll go back. Of this world I’ll be quit!
Again a water nymph I’ll be; beauty, love will blossom again,
My princess crown will be restored, in His love for me I’ll remain.

My story is a cheerless one, with the exception of the end,
Which hasn’t happened yet, but will; I wait for when two hearts will blend
My letter ends. I say farewell. Will we meet? Well it all depends
Maybe you’re a water nymph too. Goodbye, someone. I’m glad we’re friends
